Our traditional Sussex flint stone barns offer a warm and rustic atmosphere for your festive celebrations. With a capacity of up to 130 guests, an impressive Christmas tree, fairy lights, candle-lit candelabras, and The Stable Bar with its cosy log-burning fire, Upwaltham Barns is the perfect Christmas party venue.
EXAMPLE ITINERARY
Arrival and drinks: 6:30pm
Dinner served: 7:30pm
Dancing: 9:15pm
Bar closes: 11:45pm

STARTER
Stuffed Yorkshire pudding, pulled Mexican beef brisket, Mexican slaw
Roast pork belly, fondant celeriac, cavolo nero, panko apple
Twice cooked cheese soufflé with apple, pomegranate and walnuts (V)
Wild mushrooms and tarragon on toasted sourdough bread (VE)
MAIN
Roast British turkey, sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, roasted potatoes, maple glazed roasted carrots, parsnips and sprouts and cranberry sauce
Beef cheek, Bordelaise sauce, braised cabbage, root vegetable gratin
Pan-seared salmon, dill béarnaise, fondant potato, sauteed shallots, hispi cabbage
Cranberry and apricot nut roast with black garlic and a beetroot and port purée (VE)
DESSERT
Christmas pudding with Baileys cream (vegan option available)
Black Forest cheesecake, Kirsch soaked cherries
Sticky toffee pudding, brown butter toffee sauce, vanilla bean custard (vegan option available)
Clementine posset with cranberry compote and cinnamon palmiers
