Wedding Venue Sales Coordinator (Freelance/Part-Time)

About Us:
Upwaltham Barns is a charming, sought-after wedding venue offering couples the perfect setting for their special day. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and personable individual to join our team as a Wedding Venue Sales Coordinator, helping prospective couples fall in love with our venue and guiding them through the booking process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided show rounds for prospective couples, showcasing the venue’s features and benefits.
• Build strong relationships with potential couples, understanding their needs and helping them visualise their wedding day.
• Maintain accurate records of couple’s interactions and bookings.
• Collaborate with the team to support open days.
• Prepare the venue and necessary paperwork for guided show rounds.
• Ad hoc support on event mornings to ensure venue is prepared to high standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A warm, friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Sales experience, ideally within weddings, events, or hospitality (preferred but not essential).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to be ‘hands on’ with necessary ad hoc requirements.
• Confidence in working weekends.

Reporting:
You will work directly alongside and report into the Venue Owner with support from Venue Operations Director when required.

Hours & Pay:
Part-time/flexible: approximately 10-15 hours per week or 45- 50 hours a month, with weekend availability required and additional support in Q1 expected.
Competitive hourly rate, plus commission bonuses.

Expected Start Date: Mid-January 2025
